
The Teen-Parent Connection Program is targeted to at-risk youth ages 12-17 and their parent(s) in Darke County. The program is facilitated once a week for a twelve week duration and attended by the youth and their parent(s). The program focuses on the family as a whole and program content covers areas of parent-child relationships, communication, trust, cooperation, conflict resolution, and the importance of education for the entire family. The program also focuses on building positive relationships between the youth and their parent(s), their school, and their community to establish a positive support system.
