Gateway’s Runaway and Homeless Youth Program offers services to youth ages 10 - 17 and their families in Darke, Miami, and Shelby Counties.
The Runaway and Homeless Youth Program offers:
A 24-hour crisis hotline (1.800.351.7347) along with an individual available to answer calls during the day

A safe alternative to leaving home
Emergency housing for up to 15 days
Referrals to other community service agencies as needed or requested
Support for the youth and family
On-going case management
Non-therapeutic counseling to the youth and family
Confidentiality
The Runaway and Homeless Youth Program is designed to provide crisis intervention services for Darke County youth who are:
thinking of running away from home or who have run away from home
an alternative for parents who are one step away from removing the youth from their home
and to local service providers, law
enforcement agencies, etc. who would like to offer at-risk youth and
their families a safe alternative to leaving home.
