On Friday, October 27, we went to Bonnybrook Farm in Centerville. It was very cold and muddy. We rode on a hayride to the barn where they keep the horses. We talked about what the horses eat, and how to pet them. We got to meet some of the horse! Our favorite was Stuart Little. We then got back on the hayride and went to the pumpkin patch. We saw where the pumpkins grow, and saw a really big orange pumpkin, and then the pumpkin leaf. Some of us were having fun getting our feet stuck in the sticky mud when our tour guide was telling us about how pumpkins grow from a seed to a flower, then a pumpkin! At the end of our trip, we got to choose our own pumpkin. Some of us choose too big of pumpkins that Ms. Alycia and Ms. Susan had to carry them back to the bus for us. Brandon’s mom, Valerie came along and helped us at the farm. Our favorite part of the whole trip was the hayride.
